Commissioned Shoots
Understated. Editorial. Finished.
A tailored, editorial-style experience designed to create finished images—clean, intentional, and built to hold up on a large screen, in print, or in a feature story. Ideal for collector cars, exceptional builds, and sale-ready presentation.
I take on a limited number of commissions so each project gets full attention from planning through final delivery. If you’re after images that read like a magazine spread—quiet direction, controlled light, and clean composition—this is built for you.
How it works
Car, city, intent. We align on the look and how the images will be used (legacy, builder portfolio, sale-ready).
Location, timing, and shot priorities. Discretion available when needed.
Calm pacing, subtle direction. The car stays the hero—not the production.
Finished images only. Consistent color and a premium, natural finish.
Signature process
- Consultation + shot plan to align location, light, and usage
- Motion-capable execution when the story calls for it (static or dynamic)
- Bespoke color profile built for the car, the location, and the light (custom LUT → Lightroom profile)

What you can expect
- Guidance and direction during the shoot (angles, light, pacing)
- A curated set of fully edited finals—not hundreds of raw files
- Delivery in high-resolution + web-ready formats
- Any added costs (extended travel, permits, private locations) are quoted in advance
Select your experience
Every client gets the same respect and care. The packages reflect scope—how deep we go, how much we create, and what you want the final work to become.

For collectors and curators where the standard is concours-level, museum-level, or personal legacy. Built around the outcome—not the clock.
Designed to include:
- Consultation first to align cars, locations, and outcome
- Travel + schedule protection (weather adjustments when needed)
- Multi-location coverage when it supports the story
- Bespoke color profile + tighter finishing where it matters
- Pricing: individually scoped (cars, locations, travel, deliverables, usage)

Essential Commission
A focused commission for one vehicle—built to deliver a tight, elevated set that feels editorial and timeless.
Designed to include:
- One-vehicle focus (static; motion optional when location allows)
- Light planning (timing, location, visual direction)
- A curated set of fully edited final images
Best for: local owners, clean listings, and a tasteful set without a full story build.
FAQ
How do I book a commission?
Start with a short message that includes the car, your city, and what you want the images used for (legacy, builder portfolio, or sale-ready). I’ll reply with a recommended option, scope, and next steps.
Do you provide raw files?
No. Deliverables are a curated set of finished images—edited for consistency and delivered ready for print and web.
How many final images will I receive?
Enough to match the scope. Essential is a tight curated set. Signature becomes a cohesive collection. Château is outcome-driven depth scoped to the project.
What’s the turnaround time?
Typically 1–3 weeks depending on scope and season. If you have a deadline, include it in your initial request.
Do you travel?
Yes—Château Commissions are available worldwide. Travel is scoped per project.
What happens if weather doesn’t cooperate?
We adjust timing or reschedule. The goal is the images—not forcing a bad day.
Can you help with locations?
Yes. I’ll recommend locations that match the look and avoid visual clutter.
What’s included with books and prints?
Signature and Château can include a book and a fine print as part of the experience. Final size, finish, and presentation are selected together and priced to match your intent.
Owner Prep Guide
You don’t need to overthink this—but a little prep makes a big difference in the final images.
Detail matters
- Full detail recommended (paint, wheels, glass, interior). Same-day detail is ideal.
- Clean tires/wheels are the fastest way to make a car look expensive in photos.
Bring a quick touch-up kit
- Window cleaner + microfiber (glass shows everything)
- Soft duster or clean microfiber for light dust
- Optional: light tire dressing (use sparingly—best applied after positioning)
Lights without idling
Headlights and interior lighting can add a unique look—especially during golden hour. A strong battery helps so we can keep the engine off. Idling can create subtle vibrations that reduce sharpness.
Timing makes the look
Golden hour (sunrise/sunset) is the most flattering light. Midday is workable, but harsher and less forgiving.
Weather and flexibility
If weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll adjust timing or reschedule. The goal is the images—not forcing a bad day.
Tell me the car, your city, and the intended use (legacy, builder portfolio, publication, listing). I’ll recommend the best option and confirm scope before booking.
Discretion available. Added costs (travel, permits, location access) are quoted in advance.
