Metal Prints

Crafted one at a time. Finished for the space they’ll live in.
All prints are produced by an exclusive partner I’ve worked with for many years.

What to expect

  • Metal-only prints, produced individually (no automated checkout).
  • We’ll confirm size, surface/finish, and mounting based on your space.
  • You’ll receive a finished piece that’s ready to hang and built to last.

Crafted one at a time

A metal print is not a product you simply order. It’s a finished piece of art—designed for light, scale, and environment—and every print I produce is handled that way.

Metal is chosen for its color fidelity, depth, and longevity. Each piece is created individually, with decisions made around size, surface, and mounting to ensure the final result feels intentional—never generic.

Why metal

Metal prints have a presence that paper simply cannot match. Light interacts with the surface, blacks gain depth, and colors carry a subtle luminosity that changes throughout the day. The result is a piece that feels architectural—equally at home in a gallery, office, or living space.

Metal is also exceptionally durable. It resists fading, moisture, and warping, making it ideal for long-term display.

Surface & finish

Subtle choices that make a meaningful difference.

White or Silver

If silver isn’t right for an image, I won’t recommend it. When in doubt, white is always a safe and beautiful choice.

Gloss level

There’s no “correct” choice—only what works best for the image and the space it will live in.

Size & scale

Chosen for the wall, not the catalog.

Rather than locking prints into preset sizes, I work backward from the space where the piece will live. Wall size, viewing distance, and surrounding elements all matter. If you’re unsure what size is appropriate, that’s part of the conversation—I’ll guide you toward dimensions that feel balanced and intentional.

Mounting & framing

Designed to let the image breathe.

Framing isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of the presentation. Depending on the size and intent of the piece, options may include:

The goal is always the same: support the image without distracting from it.

Lighting considerations

Let the print do what it was meant to do.

Metal prints respond beautifully to proper lighting. Angle, distance, and color temperature all influence how a piece reads. Warmer light enhances sunsets and earth tones; cooler light brings out blues, greens, and fine detail. If lighting is a concern in your space, I’m happy to make recommendations so the finished piece looks its best throughout the day.

The process

Simple, personal, and unhurried.

There is no automated checkout and no blind ordering. If you’re interested in a metal print:

This approach ensures the final piece feels considered—because it is.

A note on quality

My print partner has been producing metal prints since 2008 and is trusted by photographers and galleries across the country for color accuracy, craftsmanship, and consistency. Their process, combined with careful preparation on my end, ensures the finished piece reflects the original intent of the photograph.
